1 Roll / 35mm / Hand-Rolled / BW / 24 exp / 200 iso / DX CodedProcess BW

Leslie Lazenby's Favorite BW Film!!!! Svema Foto 200 - a unique emulsion exclusive to the FPP! Direct and fresh from Eastern Europe to The Film Photography Project Store. Hand-rolled by Michael Raso of the Film Photography Podcast.

Foto 200 is a panchromatic negative film, coated onto a thin, transparent polyester base providing excellent dimensional stability. Thickness of the polyester base: 0.10 mm (.004”). Expanded color sensitivity into the near infra-red range of the color spectrum. Panchromatic, up to 750 nm. Use a r72 Infrared filter to achieve infrared results.

Keep your film Light Tight! This film stock is subject to "light piping" (also known as "flashing") when exposed to room light due to its thin base. Please load in dim light and store in a dark camera bag before and after shooting. If storing your film in fridge, freezer or home shelf, store in a light tight bag as well. What is light piping? Read our blog by Leslie Lazenby. Because this film has special handling, we do not offer refunds or replacement rolls if you "flash" your film.

Notes from Svema film shooter Leslie Lazenby:
"Svema Foto 200 has a thin polyester base, is panchromatic, is true 200 speed and dries super flat. I home-processed in Xtol stock - 7 minutes @ 68 degrees, 5 seconds agitation twice every minute. (Michael Raso's home process has been Kodak D-76 - stock - 6 minutes @ 68 degrees)"
