The Maxxum 400si is a 35 mm single-lens reflex camera featuring a TTL (through-the-lens) autofocus system and comprehensive exposure automation. Use the fully automatic exposure and focus for everyday shooting, or choose Program, Aperture Priority, Shutter Priority, and Manual modes for creative control. The camera includes a sophisticated multi-segment metering system, fast autofocus performance for its time, and a built-in flash with wireless control for compatible external units. Its solid ergonomics and broad lens support helped make it a popular choice in the mid-1990s era.
