Please READ all the information on this page and acknowledge TERMS before purchasing.
Cartridge DOES NOT include film (available separately). Each cartridge is professionally 3D printed by The FPP and requires that you load film before shooting. Cartridge DOES NOT include light trap in the openings. You will need to purchase "flocking tape" and do-it-yourself. This cartridge will only fit Minolta 16 cameras (or cameras that accept the Minolta 16 cartridge). We do not accept returns on this item.
LOADING: Load your cartridges in total darkness (Dark room or film changing bag).
Number of Exposures: Approx. 17 inches of film will give you 20 exposures in your Minolta 16 camera.
Regarding handling and avoiding light leaks - TERMS - The cartridge needs to be handled in dim or no light. They are NOT completely light tight (the 3D printed cartridge may have pinhole leaks). Before and after removing it from the camera, the film should be stored in a black bag. When in your camera, consider using light tight tape in case your camera leaks light. We do not accept returns on our 3D printed Minolta 16 cartridges. (Use care in handling and you will get satisfactory results.)
Breakage - DO NOT force the cartridge into your camera. The cartridge must be flush in order to close the film compartment door - the inner gears must line up. If you force it - it will break. SEE this video clip on this issue HERE.
What film can I use?
We recommend our Minolta 16 film.
