What is the difference between Negative Film and Reversal Film?

    • Negative film is a film that after development produces a negative for scanning to a digital file. Negative film can not be projected and is returned to you (unslit) on a film core.
    • Reversal Film is a film that produces a positive image after development. The film is slit and returned to you on a 50 ft reel. Reversal film can be scanned and also projected in a vintage film projector.

We accept the following Double 8 film:

    • Cine 8 BW Positive 40 Reversal
    • Cine 8 BW Positive 100 iso Reversal
    • Foma R100 33ft roll
    • All Cine8 BW Negative films
    • Cine 8 Color 40, Color 50 or Color 500 Negative
    • Cine 8 100D Color Positive (Reversal)
    • We do not accept vintage Kodachrome film. Typically, this film is found in cameras when they are purchased or thrifted.

In the video below, Michael Raso explains what Double 8 film is and demonstrates how to load and shoot both sides of your film. (using the Keystone K8 camera). Still have questions after seeing video. Email Michael Raso - Michael@FilmPhotographyProject.com
