*Manufacturer Film Date - The expiration date on Phoenix I 35mm film is essentially a suggested sell by date, not a hard cutoff for usability. Film that’s close to or even past this date is still considered fresh. In normal storage conditions, film remains good for at least five years beyond the printed date and if the film has been refrigerated, it can easily remain in excellent condition for up to ten years past that date.
