Vintage Minolta Maxxum 5 Single Lens Reflex Camera Kit.
The Minolta Maxxum 5 is a compact 35 mm single-lens reflex (SLR) film camera that was introduced in the early 2000s with a blend of easy-to-use automatic features and interchangeable Minolta A-mount lenses. It offers autofocus with a 7-point system, multiple exposure modes (Program, Aperture priority, Shutter priority, Manual, and scene modes), and a built-in flash—all in a lightweight body that was among the smallest and lightest of its class. The Maxxum 5 also includes helpful features like eye-start automation, 14-segment metering, film DX ISO detection, and support for shutter speeds up to 1/4000 s, making it suitable for casual shooters and beginners learning film photography.
