Film Scanning Services - LomoKino Movie Maker 35mm Film Scanning
Introducing FPP film scan services for your film shot with the LomoKino Movie Maker camera!
Quantity drop down (above) is the number of processed rolls you are sending to us. Use the drop down and choose the number to match the number of rolls you are sending. (i.e. quantity of 5 if you are sending 5 rolls to be scanned)
The LomoKino is a wonderful, fun, old-timey hand crank movie camera that takes standard 36 exp 35mm cartridges. It’s easy to shoot but a REAL TIME-CONSUMING TASK to scan, register frames and edit! Put the FUN back in LomoKino movie making by having The FPP do all the heavy lifting – that prep, scan and animation – all in 1920x1080 HD resolution!
If you have more than five LomoKino rolls of film, please contact Michael Raso for quantity discounts.
If you need different specs (i.e. 2k or 4k resolution) or have any questions drop a line to Michael Raso - Michael@FilmPhotographyProject.com
Please read ALL the info on this page before choosing this service.
What you need to do:
- Shoot your LomoKino movie on 36 exposure rolls of BW or color film. (We highly recommend you use a tripod when shooting and shoot multiple rolls of 36 exposure film)
- Process your film before sending to The FPP. Please DO NOT cut your film after processing. If using a commercial lab (like TheDarkroom.com) please ask them NOT to cut your film.
- Send your processed LomoKino film along with one USB thumb drive to The FPP. (A 128gb drive is recommended. If you don’t have a thumb drive, you can purchase one from The FPP here.) The shipping fee in your shopping cart is for the return of your materials. You are responsible for shipping your materials to The FPP.
- We will prep and scan your LomoKino movie at 12 frames per second and provide you with a 1920x1080 .mov file. We will return your file along with your film uncut on a Kodak film core for storage.
